Reviving our nation,
one heart at a time,
through God's Word.
THE BIBLE
1. We believe that the Bible (all 66 books) is God’s only special revelation
given to the human race. It is absolutely fully inspired by God (2 Tim. 3:16).
God communicated His revelation to specifically chosen men, who were called
prophets, and they progressively, over time, recorded that revelation, without
error, by God’s supernatural guidance. This was a process, which goes
beyond all human investigation. They wrote exactly what He willed (2 Sam.
23:2; Ps. 12:6-7; Jer. 1:9; Lk. 1:70; Acts 24:14; Heb. 1:1; 2 Pet. 1:21).
2. We believe that the Holy Scriptures are a Christian’s final objective authority on faith and practice (Acts 17:11; Mat. 4:4). The Bible contains everything needed for a disciple of Christ to grow in spiritual maturity and to live Godly in his or her practical walk, bringing pleasure to God (Jn. 8:31-32; 17:17; 1 Thes. 2:13; 2 Pet. 1:3).
3. We believe in the literal, historical interpretation of the Bible. We believe that the Bible is its own commentary, meaning that the Bible is laid out in such a way that Scripture interprets Scripture (1 Cor. 2:13; Rom. 15:4). The whole Scripture interprets the parts of Scripture. “For precept (one part of that which God has stated) must be upon precept (another part of that which God has stated) and line upon line, here a little there a little” (Isa. 28:10). Therefore, one portion of Scripture should never be isolated from the whole of Scripture (2 Pet. 1:20).
GOD
1. We believe that God is specifically defined only in the Bible (2 Sam. 7:22;
Isa. 44:6).
2. We believe that there is only one intelligent, uncaused, self-existent, and invisible God (not two or three) who is both transcendent and immanent, and both infinite and personal. He is not a force, energy, or power. He is the supreme and sovereign being over the entire universe (Psa. 103:19; Isa. 44:8; 1 Tim 1:17).
3. We believe that the Godhead is triune, meaning that God is one in His essence or being and three in person: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7). All three are called God (1 Cor. 8:6; 1 Tim. 3:16; Acts 5:3-4). Each person of the Godhead is equally eternal with all knowledge, all power, and is everywhere present. We, without defense, accept that this is a difficult doctrine to fully understand and explain, although it is not against reason, nor is it contradictory (Ps. 92:5-6; Rom. 11:33).
4. We believe that all gods of other religions are false and man-made and not at all equally true with the God of the Bible (Ps. 96:5; Isa. 45:21; Acts 19:26; 1 Cor.10:20). We reject all worldviews of pantheism, animism, pluralism, deism, atheism, and polytheism.
JESUS
1. We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man; He is fully divine and also fully human (Jn. 1:14; 1 Tim. 3:16). He pre-existed eternally with the Father (Jn. 1:1; 8:58), was conceived by the Holy Spirit (Mt. 1:18), born of the virgin Mary (Mt. 1:23), lived a perfect life (1 Pet. 2:22), and died a substitutionary death for the sins of mankind (Jn. 1:29).
2. We believe that He arose bodily from the grave (1 Cor. 15:4) and ascended to heaven (Lk. 24:50; Acts 1:11) where He is presently operating as the High Priest, Mediator, and Advocate around His shed blood for His people (Heb. 2:17; 4:14; 9:11-15; 1 Jn. 2:1-2). We also believe that He will return personally and bodily as King of Kings and Lord of Lords to the earth at the end of this age (Mt. 24:30; Rev. 19:11).
3. We believe that Jesus Christ is the world’s only Savior and that He is the Lord of all (Jn. 4:42; Phil. 2:9-11).
THE HOLY SPIRIT
1. We believe that the Holy Spirit is God, the third person of the triune Godhead. He is not a force, fluid, or an influence. The person of the Holy Spirit works in the lives of God’s people today indirectly by the means of the Word of God, which He inspired (Eph. 6:17; 2 Pet. 1:21).
2. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ unto salvation and to also procure a bride for the King of kings. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. He gives every believer a spiritual gift when they are saved. As Christians, we seek to live under His control daily (2 Corinthians 3:17; John 16:7-13, 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; 1 Corin-thians 2:12, 3:16; Ephesians 1:13; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:18).
CREATION
1. We believe that the Bible presents a true, factual, and historical ac-count of creation.
2. We believe that God, according to the Scriptures, created the entire physical universe and everything visible and invisible in it (Gen. 1:1; Col. 1:16).
3. We reject all theories that blur the distinction between God and His creation.
4. We reject all forms of evolution. We believe that the theory of evolution (including theistic evolution) is humanistic, unscientific, and an unscriptural belief system.
MAN
1. We believe that God directly created man in His own image and likeness and that he did not evolve from lower forms of animals (Gen. 1:26-28; 1 Cor. 15:39). As a created being, he was dependent upon and accountable to his Creator (Gen. 2:16-17).
2. We believe that Adam, the first man, willfully disobeyed God and sinned against His command (Gen. 3:6,17-18). This introduced sin and death (spiritual and physical) into the world (Rom. 5:12). All men today, like Adam and Eve then, are tempted to gratify their own lusts and choose to sin against the moral will of God. Therefore, they become guilty before God and deserve punishment in the lake of fire for all eternity (Jam. 1:14-15; Rev. 20:10).
3. We believe that although man does commit acts of sin and chooses to live separated from God, he still bears the image of God (1 Cor. 11:7; Jam. 3:9). Therefore, man is unique and superior to all other life forms on earth.
SALVATION
1. We believe that the only requirement to be saved from never ending judgment in the lake of fire is to believe one time on the finished work and death of Jesus Christ on the cross for one’s own sins (Acts 16:30-31; 1 Cor. 15:3; Jn. 19:30).
2. We believe that a person can have absolute total assurance that he is saved by looking only to the objective evidence found in the Scripture that Christ died for his sins (1 Cor. 15:3).
3. We believe that no act of obedience or work of man, preceding or following the finished work salvation, such as water baptism, perseverance, commitment, turning from one's sins, or submission to the Lordship of Christ, is required to be a saved person or remain a saved person.
4. We believe in an absolute eternal security of all saved people (1 Cor. 3:15).
5. We believe that Jesus died for every man (Heb. 2:9; Jn. 1:29). Therefore, the finished work salvation message is open to everyone in the human race. Anyone is capable of understanding this message and, henceforth, is held responsible to either believe or not to believe (Acts 16:30-31).
6. We believe that since the death of Christ, salvation from eternity in the lake of fire is exclusively found in the name of the Jesus. We reject all forms of inclusivism in regards to salvation.
SATAN
1. We believe that Satan, originally named Lucifer, was created by God as a perfect, angelic being and placed over the pre-Adamic earth as the ruler (Ezek. 28:12-14).
2. We believe that Lucifer and one-third of his subordinate angels rebelled against God in eternity past (Is. 14:12-14; Rev. 12:4), and as a result of his willful sin, he became known as the Devil and Satan, the adversary of God and His people (1 Pet. 5:8).
3. We believe that Satan and his demons presently rule the kingdoms of this world from the atmosphere over the earth (Lk. 4:5,6; Jn. 12:31; 2 Cor. 4:4; Eph. 2:2; 6:12).
4. We believe that Satan is not outside the control of the sovereignty of God and that God uses him to accomplish His will (Job 1-2; Rom. 13:1; Rev. 2:10).
5. We believe that Satan and his demons shall be removed from their present positions over the earth at the second coming of Christ (Rev. 11:15; 20:1-2). He shall finally be punished in the lake of fire for endless eternity (Rev. 20:10).
THINGS TO COME
1. We believe according to Bible prophesy that the present world (including the majority of Christians) in the last days before Jesus Christ returns will become more and more corrupted with sin, compromise, and lawlessness (Mat. 24:37-38; Lk. 18:8; 21:34; 1 Tim 4:1; 2 Tim. 3:1-5; 4:3-4; Rev. 3:17).
2. We believe that all the world governments presently under Satan shall soon culminate into a one-world kingdom under Antichrist (Dan. 2:44-45; Rev. 13; 1 Jn. 2:18). We believe this future time to be called the tribulation period (Mt. 24:21,29).
3. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will return to rapture the church, to resurrect the dead in Christ and to judge and to reward (Dan. 12:1-3; 2 Tim. 4:1; 1 Thes. 4:13-18; 1 Cor. 15:51-55; 2 Cor. 5:10; 2 Thes. 1:7-10; Rev. 22:12).
4. We believe that at the second coming Jesus Christ will establish His Kingdom as King on the earth for a literal period of “a thousand years” and put all enemies under His feet (1 Cor. 15:25; Rev. 20:1-6).
5. We believe that by comparing Scripture with Scripture, “the kingdom of God” and “the kingdom of heaven” are synonymous (Mt. 19:23-24) and that they refer to the future millennial Kingdom age before the eternal ages.
6. We believe that in order to enter into the millennial Kingdom age and reign with Christ, a chosen disciple must be qualified in this age by suffering faithfully (Mt. 5:10-12; Lk. 9:62; 2 Thes. 1:5; 2 Tim. 2:11-12; Acts 14:22; Rev. 20:4-6).
7. Therefore, we believe that not all of God’s people will enter into the blessing of the Kingdom of God, but instead, many will suffer exclusion or a disinheritance for the full “thousand years” because of a disobedient and unfaithful lifestyle in this present evil age (1 Cor. 6:9-10; Gal. 5:19-21; Eph. 5:5; Mt. 7:21-23; Mt. 8:11-12; Mt. 25:26,30; Lk. 13:24-29).
8. “The thousand year” exclusion is a temporary loss that will not extend beyond “the thousand year” Kingdom. All disobedient children of God shall be restored after the Kingdom in the eternal ages (Rev. 20:5; 1Cor.3:15).
9. We believe that the reward of the millennial Kingdom, to reign with Christ
on the earth, is the promised inheritance of the New Testament (Rom.4:13;
Col. 3:24; Mt. 25:34; Jam. 2:5) and that His disciples should obey the words
of Jesus Christ by seeking first the Kingdom of God above all else (Matthew
6:33).
